If you've ever called around for a dumpster, you know the frustration: a low quote on the phone, then fuel surcharges, environmental fees and weight charges show up on the final bill. Here's exactly how pricing works with Berger Bins — and what to ask any company before you book.
Our flat rates
- 3-day rental — $375. Great for a garage purge or a weekend cleanout.
- 7-day rental — $400. Our most popular option. Just $25 more buys you four extra days.
- 14-day rental — $600. Built for remodels, roofing jobs and whole-house cleanouts.
Every rental includes delivery, pickup and the first ton (2,000 lbs) of disposal.
What can add to the price
- Extra weight: $75 per ton over the included ton.
- Tires: $15 each.
- Mattresses and box springs: $50 each.
- Overfilling: $100 if debris is piled above the rails — it isn't safe to haul.
Rule of thumb: a typical household cleanout lands near the included ton. Shingles, concrete, dirt and wet yard waste get heavy fast — ask us for a weight estimate before you start loading.
Questions to ask any dumpster company
- Is delivery and pickup included in the price?
- How much weight is included, and what's the per-ton rate after that?
- Are there fuel, environmental or "admin" fees?
- What happens if I need a few extra days?
With Berger Bins the answers are simple: yes, one ton, $75/ton, no, and just give us a call.
